Meet the Artist

Throughout the past thirty years, Mingo Nørager have worked with the craft of photography. He has, amongst other produced the book “Dedicated”, in which he portrays 25 Danish artists – including personalities such as Michael Kvium, Ghita Nørby and Nikolaj Lie Kaas. In 2015, he took part in the Monochrome Photography Awards and won the category Fine Art Photography of the Year (professional).

Since the Millennium, photography as an art form has been very important to him and in recent years this has intensified.

Impermanence is a theme that consistently pervades the artwork.

The fact that everything is impermanent and nothing lasts forever, not even the tiniest hard on the body intrigues him.

Moreover, he attempts to find beauty within all the things he does and from experience, it often arises when impermanence has left its marks.
